Member of Zrii’s Scientific Advisory Board recognized among international Ayurvedic practitioners.

Zrii congratulates Scientific Advisory Board member Suhas Kshirsagar BAMS, MD, for earning the 2009 Charaka Award for Excellence in Ayurvedic Teaching, granted by the Ayurvedic Professionals of North America. 

Dr. Suhas was nominated along with practitioners from dozens of countries around the world. “The organization selected people based on their significant contribution to Ayurveda,” explains Andrew Mangeris, Vice President of Product Marketing at Zrii who works closely with the Scientific Advisory Board. “They looked for educators as well as skilled clinicians who applied their knowledge to patients and students alike. We are extremely proud of his accomplishment.”

Dr. Suhas Kshirsagar, BAMS, M.D. (Ayurveda) is a world-renown Ayurveda physician from India born in a traditional Vedic family. He is currently the Director of Ayurvedic Medicine for Kerala Ayurveda located in Aptos, California, and is a key formulator for Zrii products.

The mission of the AAPNA (Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America) is to build bridges of knowledge across all health professions, to introduce Ayurveda to integrative health professionals, and to strengthen the awareness of Ayurveda as a healing science.
